CrazyEgg Click Tracking
I went ahead and tried out CrazyEgg on some pages I had thrown together. There’s quite a few things that could probably be tweaked or changed. It was easy to get some quick data as some of my coworkers have the page as their homepage. I have to say it was really easy and non-obtrusive. Just a simple javascript tag that’s inserted.
If your doing testing of different designs of sites it might be worthwhile to use this to see what people are clicking on. Some screenshots below.
