Telling a Life’s Story

Probably one of the most amazing uses of YouTube that’s I’ve seen. A 78-year-old man tells his story. Probably something that would fall under DOPA.

Check out his YouTube profile for more of his content and to see how quickly he’s adapted to the technology. Are any libraries helping document local stories?

I, too, wrote about Geriactric1927 in my team blog at work. I think this is such a positive event for YouTube because it’s getting young people so involved and it is such a good use of videoblogging. YouTube is already getting some bad raps because of inappropriate content and these videos are such a great example of positive content that is has got to help the cause! I can now see students posting their own videos with their interviews of parents and grandparents and sharing them with the world.
